My head is happily full of ideas for the gallery show I'm getting ready for. This is a linocut, printed over tissue paper which I painted with acryic ink and then cut out. It is a terribly fiddley process, so put on some calming music and sip some tea if you decide to fool around with wet tissue paper! I love thinking about all the things I can do with linocut, but the logistics of whether these pieces should go in my Etsy shop or whether I should leave them out in case, heaven forbid, they sell : O, was something my happy right brain couldn't figure out. My left brain finally stepped in with some reason about what should be in my shop. I removed the work that I didn't want to sell and I actually have three different prints with orange castles so I can safely part with some. This one is called "Celebration". Just in time for Canada Day or Independance Day, if you live in the U.S.!
