learning to walk

I may be getting myself into trouble here.  This is definetly unknown territory.  Although I have spied on many other people's blogs I have never had my own.  A little scarry.  This is the blog where I talk about my art things and do my best not to be mundane. 
Currently I am amazed at how difficult it is to get my painting to look on the computer as they do in real life.  I can make some of them look amazing by playing with the settings but that's cheating so I've tried in most cases to make them look like the originals.  The exception it this little blue dress that I wore when I was six.

I had to make the blue shadows garishly bright so you could see the writing at the bottom.
Well, fun as this is, I'd rather be painting, but my dog Basel is panting and Becky is making cookies!
